Food and entertaining has always been a real passion of mine and I have been lucky to work in the catering industry for over 20 years. Of course what I was cooking 20 years ago is quite different to what I cook now! Another passion is learning new food trends and following my inspirational cooks and you will find cookery books in every place I inhabit!
My base is The Clock House Cafe which is a fabulous hide away behind Upton Hall on the outskirts of Southwell. Here I get to play at baking and our cakes and scones are some of the best around. In addition to baking I get to cook and experiment with rich casseroles, healthy salads and interesting vegetarian dishes. Have a look at my blog posts to see what I have been cooking recently.
I always describe myself as someone with a “need to feed” and I feel that cooking is my “thing”. Ask me to sew, knit or draw and I will run a mile…but give me a box of food and tell me to cook and I will be in my comfort zone. I love to share my cooking with others and one way I do this is through Cookery sessions which are held monthly at The Clock House, or can be held in your home. Thankfully unlike cooking, knitting is not a daily necessity…..if it was I would definitely need help from someone and I love being able to be that someone to people who are really not comfortable with cooking in any way shape or form.
I hope that you find what you are looking for on my website, please feel free to drop me an email or call me if you think I might be able to help you with any of your catering needs.
